Dismissal Procedures Reminders

Grange Elementary was originally designed to serve students in a walking community. Our long driveway poses traffic challenges for our current school community, due to the high number of families that drive to school. In order to keep dismissal as efficient and safe as possible we remind families to follow our dismissal procedures:

  • · There is NO PARKING on the curb of the driveway leading up to the school. This is marked by signage put in place by the police department. Parking in the driveway blocks the flow of traffic.
  • · There is NO PARKING directly in front of the school building. This area is for bus pick up only.
  • · If you arrive early and choose to come up in the bus loop, you must double park and remain in your vehicle. Unattended cars block the flow of traffic.
  • · If you choose to park in the gravel lot, please follow staff member directions

*** As a reminder, there are no early dismissals after 3:30pm. Our students and staff are busy preparing for dismissal at this time. Thank you for your understanding! In addition, please do not arrive before 8:45am, as there are no staff on duty to supervise students****

I am reaching out because I need some extra clothing for our students in the health office. I need gently used boy’s pants/sweatpants and girl’s leggings for children size 4-8. I also need packs of new underwear for boys and girls.

If you have any questions or any health concerns for your child, please reach out to me via phone or email.
