On behalf of the Training Committee, we would like to congratulate and thank you for taking a step forward to becoming a Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Leader. On this journey, you will have the opportunity to discover your potential, explore your Youth Leader/Huynh Trưởng vocation, strengthen your body-mind-spirit, and enhance your faith. This is a great opportunity to prepare you to become the future leaders at your local church and in your community.

As with any journey, it requires preparation, time, effort, and prayers. Please begin reviewing the materials below and start working on your assignments. Know that you are not alone. The training committee is here to assist, help, guide, and journey with you. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask. What you get out is entirely on you and what you put in. The Training Committee invites you to complete the pre-camp assignment thoroughly and timely. Most importantly, please continue to pray and do so daily so that your pre-camp assignments may be completed successfully. As Pope Francis stated, "studying without prayer is useless."

Pre-Camp Training Day is aimed to help you excel in Pre-Camp and Team Assignments. It also helps cover the theory component and allows more time to have hands-on experience at camp. All LDI Sa Mạc Sinh is required to attend this in-person training day. For out-of-state SMS, you will be joining us via live webinar.

Also, we will begin our 9-day spiritual journey from Aug. 23 - Aug. 31. The spiritual journey is a crucial part of preparing for this training camp. It also comes just at the right time during your final exam week. Each prayer session should be about 15-25 minutes, and it can help you reduce your stress and boost your performance. How beautiful it would be when the whole community comes together and pray for one another! Be assured that the Training Committee will pray for you and walk alongside you.
