A Busy Week at FES!
Dear FES Families,
Students and staff are getting busy for the holidays with the help of our amazing PTO! Reports cards have been sent home, standard school activities have been ongoing and students have been working hard at their studies. With that, we can feel the energy building with the holidays not far away! We are looking forward to creating wonderful activities connecting to a variety of content curriculum and adding some fun surprises along the way. Stay tuned for details!
A gentle reminder to have your child come into school wearing snow pants and the appropriate gear for morning recess. Children will be able to play outside if the temperature is not lower than 10 degrees including the wind chill. They love the snow! Unfortunately, we don't have an abundance of extra snow pants, coats or mittens to spare every child, so having them come prepared for these more extreme temperatures is important. If you need any winter gear or additional items to keep your child warm, please reach out to us! We are more than happy to help!
Enjoy a wonderful weekend!
Warmest regards,
Kathie

See below for some snapshots of our Grade 3-4 students creating homemade pasta! Very exciting!
