The WHS Boys Golf team captured the IHSAA State Championship for the second consecutive year, continuing a tradition of excellence on the course. The Shamrocks were led by senior Hudson Kutchma, who earned the individual state title, marking back-to-back years that a Westfield golfer has claimed the honor. Congratulations to our student-athletes and coaches on an incredible season and a championship performance that reflects the dedication, teamwork, and commitment of the entire program.

WHS Track & Field wrapped up an outstanding season at the IHSAA State Finals, with Shamrock student-athletes earning top finishes, all-state honors, and statewide recognition. The meet was highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the boys 4x100 relay and Ella Jenkins receiving the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award, becoming the first Westfield girls track and field athlete to earn the distinction. Congratulations to our student-athletes and coaches on a memorable season of achievement and growth.

The WWS Board of School Trustees has adopted a resolution to place an operating referendum on the November 3, 2026 ballot. If approved by voters, the referendum would provide funding to support district operations, including student safety, staffing, transportation, academic programming, and student support services. WWS will continue sharing information and resources in the coming months to help community members learn more about the referendum and its potential impact.
