Madison High School Updates
February 15th, 2026
Message from Mrs. Thomas
This is going to be a very busy and exciting week at MHS! In addition to our Winter Homecoming festivities, we are thrilled to unveil our new Skilled Trades Wall this Friday, February 20th from 6pm-7:30pm outside the HS Counseling Office.
The Trades & Apprenticeship Wall highlights numerous skilled trade pathways, making it easy to explore career opportunities in high-demand, high-wage fields. Each section features a convenient QR code so you can instantly access information about requirements, training programs, and career opportunities—right from your phone.
Skilled trades offer students the chance to earn while they learn and build rewarding, in-demand careers.
Come out, explore the possibilities, and discover where a career in the skilled trades could take you! If you, or someone you know, works in the Skilled Trades we would love to have you join us! If you cannot attend, but would be willing to support students who are exploring a career in the Skilled Trades please contact our HS Guidance Counselor, Jen Stelzer, at 517-263-0742 ext 135 or email jen.stelzer@madisonk12.us

SCHEDULING FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
A Message from Mrs. Stelzer:
I have had the opportunity to meet with most of the sophomores and juniors to discuss their schedules for the upcoming year, including courses at Madison, the Tech Center, and dual-enrollment options. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your schedule further, don’t hesitate to reach out to me at Jen.Stelzer@madisonk12.us or ext. 135.
I’m planning to work with freshmen on their schedules during English 9 classes on February 25th and 26th.
A copy of our the HS Course Bulletin can be found on the District Website.
