From the Principal's Desk

We had a busy but wonderful February. Our sports teams did really well at the end of the season. Midwest Falconry came to the school and taught the students about falconry and conservation. The students' performance of You Can't Take it With You was wonderful. The juniors took the ACT at school, and senior wrestler Chris Marshall made it to the state tournament!

This month, we are wrapping up the third quarter and heading into the last quarter of the 24-25 school year. Let's help our students finish the last quarter strong. Make sure they coming to school every day and getting their work done. If you have questions about your student's assignments or grades, please contact the school and we will get you in touch with the correct teacher. If there is anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Congratulations to the Lady Trojans who finished the season as the District Runner-Ups.

Governor's Art Show

Centerburg entered 40 works of art into the Ohio Governor's Art Show generated by 17 students. Entries ranged from paintings, drawings, photography, digital art, and mixed media, to name a few. All students did an amazing job, and I am so incredibly proud of all of them willing to put their art out there for others to see beyond the classroom. In the words of Henri Matisse, "Creativity takes courage."

The following students had their art judged at the regional level and will be moving on to state judging this coming weekend: Morgan Gaboric, Allison Wilhelm, and Cooper Schick. Congratulations.

Scheduling

We have started the scheduling process for next school year. Most students have put in their course requests. If your student has not done so, please sign his or her scheduling request form and have him or her return it to the office.
