Work-Based Learning Experience - Important Deadline for Seniors
Hello Seniors!
In last week's newsletter and in our Senior Class Sessions held in the LGI earlier this month, we discussed the Work-Based Learning Experience graduation requirement.
Below are some very important dates to remember.
Please remember, missing a Work-Based Learning Experience deadline will result in you being ruled ineligible for all extracurricular activities.
Job Shadows 1 and 2 are due by October 28, 2025
Job Shadow 3 is due by January 13, 2026
All Service Learning documentation is due by January 13, 2026
Co-op confirmation documents (obtained from BAVTS) must be uploaded to Google Classroom by December 5, 2025.
If you need help with your Work-Based Learning Experience, please set up a meeting with your School Counselor as soon as possible - Ms. Fisher (A-L) or Mr. Dezzi (M-Z).
FALL OPEN HOUSE - SEPTEMBER 24, 2025 (6 to 8 p.m.)
Fall Open House is an opportunity to experience a day in the life of your student by following their schedule, class by class.
During the evening, you will walk through your student’s daily schedule, meet each of their teachers, and learn about classroom expectations, curriculum highlights, and ways to support your child’s success.
There will also be tables showcasing several extracurricular clubs and activities.
We encourage you to bring a copy of your student’s schedule with you, as it will guide you from class to class.
Student schedules can be accessed through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
We look forward to seeing you and working together to ensure a successful year for every student.
