A Message from the Principal
Hello White Tiger Families,
I hope you all enjoyed a relaxing long weekend! We missed having your children with us and are excited for the week ahead.
As we enter the fourth week of school, I’m truly impressed by how much your students have already learned. They have smoothly settled back into our routines and jumped straight into their work. Our hallways are already showcasing their efforts, and classrooms are buzzing with active learning. Walking through our school, I feel proud and eager to see what each student will achieve this year. Rest assured, we will set high expectations and ambitious goals as we grow and learn together.
Right now, teachers are busy conducting our beginning-of-year (BOY) assessments. These tests are given at every grade level to gather valuable information about your child’s current academic strengths and areas for growth. This data helps teachers tailor instruction to meet each student’s needs. We’ll share these results with you during parent-teacher conferences in October.
Don’t forget, our annual Back to School Night is coming up this month! This event is a great chance for families to get key information that supports student success. Teachers will share important "Need to Know" details in their classrooms so we can strengthen the partnership between home and school. We look forward to seeing you there!
Please take a moment to review the information below about the Free and Reduced Lunch applications. It’s essential that every family completes this form, even if you don’t think you qualify or need assistance. The data from this application impacts part of our campus funding, and we want to secure every resource possible to support our teachers and students.
If you need anything or have questions, please reach out. Our dedicated team of educators is here to help.
❤️Mrs. Dossey

Staff Shout Outs
- To: Mr. Ewing- Thank you so much for being so kind to my 1st grader who was crying walking in the 2nd day of school. It is very hard to leave a crying child and having such a kind adult help him meant a lot to me as a parent. From: Anonymous
Caldwell Den System
- Remember that you can use the RCA House Points App to track your student's points. This is a great way to have conversations with them about the great things they are doing at school. If you are new to the Den System this year, be on the look out for a letter coming home this week that gives you information for setting up your account.
- We will be holding our first Den Rally of the school year this Friday, September 5th! Be sure that your student dresses in their Den shirt and/or colors. This Den Rally will be for students and staff only. However, the Den Rally on October 3rd will be for families too!
- Below is the current Den standings. Way to go Caspian for being in 1st place! The others are not far behind!
Caspian: Red and Black
Trinil: Purple and Silver
Javan: Green and Yellow

Safety
When you enter the campus, the door leading into the front office will be locked. Please push the button in the middle of the glass to your left when you enter. One of our staff members will then be able to greet you and ask how they can help through the speaker system.
- If you need to access the office and/or campus, they will be able to unlock the door for you to enter.
- If you are simply dropping something off for your student, please label it with your student's name and grade level and leave it on the table directly in front of the office window. We will make sure it gets to them.
- If you need to provide any documents to someone on campus, there is a tray at the bottom of the window that will allow you to pass these to our office staff.
- If you are picking up your student early, you can provide their name through the speaker. Please sign them out in the binder on the table and wait in the foyer.
We want all of our Caldwell families to feel welcome on our campus. Please know that we are here to serve you. However, your child's safety will always be our number one priority and we will always take the necessary steps to ensure that our campus is secure. If you have any questions about this process, please don't hesitate to ask.
