Hopefully you received the message earlier today that school will be closed tomorrow due to inclement weather. Tomorrow will be a traditional snow day, and school is cancelled. Please stay safe and warm. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school soon.

PTO Trivia Night is coming up on Friday, February 6—see the information below for details! Our PTO plays a vital role in supporting our school, and attending this event is a fun way to connect with other families while helping support all they do. I hope to see you there!

Our school is excited to participate in the Global Day of Play, on February 4, with one hour of joyful, unstructured, screen-free play. Students are invited to bring a favorite game, puzzle, or small non-electronic toy to help spark creativity, collaboration, and imagination. We can’t wait to see learning come alive through play! Please see more from your child's classroom teacher in their weekly communication.

It may be winter, but now is the time to start thinking about summer! Plan your child's summer activities with 90+ local and regional exhibitors at this FREE event for families. Speak with program providers and answer the question "What will my child do this summer?" Summer Expo is presented by Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed and sponsored by stlcamps.com.

Camp FunTastic Day Camp or Sports Camp is an amazing summer opportunity for your children! Due to construction at Green Trails and across the district, camp will be held at Wren Hollow Elementary this summer.

New this year: free bus transportation!
Buses will leave Green Trails at 8:15 a.m. and return students to Green Trails after camp, leaving Wren Hollow at 3:00 p.m. each day. Students attending camp from anywhere in the district are welcome to come to Green Trails to ride the bus.

Registration opens Sunday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m.

Each year in the yearbook, we feature a special throwback section for our fifth-grade class. Please help us by submitting two photos of your child (one from around Kindergarten and one from 5th grade) to be featured in the "Then and Now" section.
