Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Families,

Welcome back from Fall Break! I hope your family had an opportunity to slow down, recharge, and enjoy some special time together. We are excited to welcome our students back and get settled into our school routines again!

Returning from a break can sometimes take a little adjustment for our children and adults too! As we begin the week, we’ll be helping students get back into their routines, reconnect with their teachers and friends, and refocus on learning. Thank you for helping us by making sure your child arrives at school on time, well-rested, and ready for a great day.

We have a busy and exciting week ahead!

🔥 Fire Safety Week

This week, we are recognizing Fire Safety Week and reminding students about the importance of fire prevention and knowing what to do in an emergency.

This is also a great opportunity to continue the conversation at home. Consider asking your child what they know about fire safety and reviewing your family’s emergency plan together. Simple conversations about smoke alarms, safe exits, and where your family should meet in an emergency can help children feel prepared and confident.

🔬 STEM Fall Carnival – Thursday!

We are especially excited about our STEM Fall Carnival this Thursday!

We look forward to bringing our school community together for an evening of STEM, creativity, problem-solving, fall fun, and family fellowship. Events like this give our students an opportunity to see that learning can happen everywhere and that science, technology, engineering, and math can be lots of fun!

We hope you’ll join us and help make the evening a memorable one for our students. A special thank-you goes to everyone who has worked behind the scenes to make this event possible!

📸 Picture Retakes – Friday

Don’t forget that Picture Retakes are this Friday!

If your child missed our original picture day or needs to have his or her picture retaken, please make plans for Friday. We want to make sure everyone has an opportunity to capture that school-year smile!

It’s Great to Be Back!

We missed our students during Fall Break, and we are happy to have our school filled with their energy, laughter, and excitement again.

As we begin this next stretch of the school year, thank you for continuing to partner with us. The relationship between home and school plays such an important role in helping children feel supported and successful.

We have so much to look forward to, and we’re excited to continue learning, growing, and making great memories together.

Welcome back! Let’s have a wonderful week!

Warm regards,

Will Zwingmann, Ed.S.
