Tomorrow everyone can wear their favorite team shirt - UofL, UK, IU, or St Martha with PE or regular uniform bottoms as we wrap up 4th grade’s clash of cans servant leadership project.

If you took an Open House yard sign for your yard, you are welcome to return it and we will reuse for a future event. Feel free to lean it next to the school door or stick it in the flower bed by the big rock. Thanks for helping us to get the word out!

The Catholic Education Foundation tuition assistance application for K-8 is NOW OPEN for the 2027-2028 school year. The application is open October 15 - November 30. Visit www.ceflou.org to begin your applicaiton.

The 5th grade is working with their teachers to organize and run The Pulsera Project fundraiser for their November Shamrock Servant Leadership Project. Individuals in Central America create beautiful woven bracelets and purses to sell at schools. The money raised goes back to support their communities. This project will kick off on 11/ 9.

Please join us for Rise and Shine on Thursday, 11/19, for mass and donuts with your 2nd grader! Mass begins at 8:00am and after we will move to the cafeteria for donuts. Each student may have two adult guests. Please RSVP for the event below by 8:00am on Wednesday, 11/18.

St Martha has picture retakes scheduled for Friday, November 13.

Just a few reminders for retake picture day:

• This picture day is for any student or staff who were absent, new to school, or would like to retake their picture.
• Anyone who is getting a retake picture and ordered a picture package on the original picture day, should return the package to our photographer for us to order the retake picture package.

Each month the church's Social Concerns committee does a collection for a different agency. Donated items can be placed in the "Giving Box", a trunk located in the back of church.

In the month of November, we are collecting holiday meal items for Fern Creek/Highview United Ministries which assists needy families in our area. Items needed include:

Stuffing Mix

Cranberry Sauce

Canned vegetables (green beans, peas, corn, yams)

Dessert Mix / Pie filling

$15-$25 gift cards for buying meat (gift cards can be dropped off in the collection basket or at the parish office in an envelope marked "Social Concerns")

7th and 8th Grade Families,

I would like to have 15 students help decorate bags after school for the Advent Workshop that is on Sunday, December 6th. These bags are for those attending to put their arts and crafts in to take home.

The CSA supports more than 100 vital programs, ministries, and services across the Archdiocese of Louisville - including Catholic Charities, seminarian and deacon formation, Catholic schools, pastoral care for the sick and elderly, and parish outreach.

You can make a secure gift or pledge online through the Archdiocese of Louisville CSA Portal or pick up a pledge card or appeal envelope in the parish office.

St Martha celebrates weekend mass on Saturdays at 4:00pm and on Sundays at 8:30am & 11:00am.

To work with children under the age of 18 in any capacity in our school or parish, you MUST have completed…

• The first time attending must be in person. Dates may be found HERE. A copy of your certificate should be submitted to the parish office.

• If you’ve attended before and you are renewing because it’s been five years, you may complete a refresher course on-line. Contact Tammy Fletcher in the parish office at 491-8535 or tfletcher@stmarthachurch.org for more information on doing so.
