Celebrating our Grade 8s!
Last Friday we celebrated our fantastic Grade 8s at their Farewell. June 13 we celebrated them at mass, blessed them with Father Jim and on June 25 at our final GIFT assembly they will be celebrated once more. As they wrap up their amazing years at St. Luke we look forward to cheering them on as they move into new adventures.
On June 16 our former St. Luke students, who are graduating Grade 12 this year, are coming back to St. Luke to reconnect with their roots. We are excited to share that our Grade 8s will have the opportunity to connect with the grade 12s as another way to support positive transitions, and set them up for awesome success!

A huge and special thank you to our amazing St. Luke School Council who treated staff to a delicious meal catered by Stinson Catering, and even covered our supervision! What a treat it was to break bread together, slowly, with hot food, and enjoy time to connect and laugh!
On behalf of all of our St. Luke staff, thank you for taking such great care of us, so we can continue to take care of your precious children!

If you are interested and willing to help out, please email stl@eics.ab.ca. We are working on getting water easily available, but if we can't, we have seen some creative watering with a 5 gallon water jug! Hey, it works!

Your child's report card will be available to view on Powerschool on June 25 @ 3pm.

In case you didn't know, you can help fundraise for St. Luke by simply grocery shopping at Save On Foods!
All you have to do is submit your original Save On Foods receipts (Wye Road location only) to the school.
Place your receipts in the little library box outside of the school's front doors and they will be picked up on Wednesday, June 25th. Please refrain from submitting receipts with lottery, prescriptions, gift cards or tobacco products on them.
Save On Foods will send 5% of all receipt totals as a donation to the school.
Spring is here, and what better way to brighten up your space than with beautiful plants from South Cooking Lake Greenhouses? We are excited to announce that South Cooking Lake Greenhouses is once again supporting our school with their Spring Fundraiser. A portion of all gift certificates purchased will directly benefit St. Luke Catholic School, supporting student enrichment programs!
This fundraiser is a great way to beautify your home and garden, or to purchase the perfect gift for Mother’s Day, all while supporting both our students and a beloved local greenhouse.
How to Purchase / Things to Know:
Gift certificates are sold in $25 denominations and do not expire.
Funds can be e-transferred to St. Luke Parent Association at stlukepatreasurer@gmail.com (no password needed). Please include your name and “SCL Greenhouse” in the transfer memo.
Complete the Google Form here before submitting payment. Feel free to share the form with family and friends!
If you wish to purchase in person, please visit the St. Luke Catholic School table at the SCL Spring Market on April 12th from 10am-4pm at the SCL Community Hall
