Principal's Note Principal's Note

Remember, there is NO SCHOOL Wednesday-Thursday-Friday as we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving! In this shortened week, I hope you get to spend it with family, wherever that may be. I look forward to spending it with mine. It's also a great time to give thanks. I am thankful for my Bulldog family! I feel fortunate to work with a great staff, impact great students, and work together with families and our community to make our school better. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

District Honor Choir Students Chosen

We’re so proud of the MHS Choir students who auditioned and were selected for the NCKMEA District Honor Choir! They’ll have a clinic and concert at our District Mini-Convention at Manhattan High School on Dec. 6th! Way to represent the Bulldogs!

Community Member Says Thank You!

Dear Students and Teachers,

A huge thank you for your hard work and efforts when the PE and JAG classes and teachers came down to help with clean-up in the Koester House Museum Gardens. Your willingness to lend a hand, along with your teachers support, made a tremendous difference in the gardens and in the house. You all were such great workers and had such pleasant attitudes you were a true joy to work with. The gardens are an important part of our community, a place where many community members come to enjoy their beauty. Your efforts certainly helped to preserve a space that many enjoy and appreciate .

We were all truly impressed by your teamwork, positive attitude, and care for the property. Because of you, our gardens look refreshed and welcoming for visitors and they are prepared for the winter months. We want you to know how much we appreciate your time, energy, and commitment. You have shown what community spirit looks like and we couldn't be prouder or more appreciative.

Sincerely,

Kim Houtz Hiller, Board President

& The Entire KHM Foundation Board

CTSO Trick-or-Treat and MJSHS Dress Up 2025

Video Highlights CTSO

McKartnee Smith did a great job making this video highlighting the food drive that FBLA, FCCLA, and FFA did over Halloween. She also highlighted some fun that students and staff had that week as well. Nice job, everyone!

KAY Club Wraps Up Citizenship Week

Thanks to KAY Club for a great Citizenship Week! Friday, they brought back a student favorite, "Scooter Beach Ball Volleyball", during AEP. Students paid $1 to play with the proceeds going to Heifer International, an organization that helps families around the world buy cows or goats for their families. It was a great week!
