Principal's Corner Principal's Corner

Dear BFPP Families,

It has been a busy week at our building, in more ways than one. While lots of learning and family connections have continued, our facilities staff has been trying out a few different heating solutions. Thank you for your patience with all of this. There may be a few more disruptions early next week as the facilities team is setting up to try another, more sustainable and clear air solution to our heating needs. Watch for more updates and thanks again!

In other news, please join us in celebrating Caroll Chamber's retirement (more information below). She has been an important part of our community for over 8 years. You will see a familiar face in the office as our own Peggy Gallegos was selected to replace her as Administrative Assistant to the Principal. Next step is to hire someone for the front office and library assistant position.

Read more below, this is a short but fun (and warm fingers crossed) filled December!!

Warmly, Principal Kate

We're seeking donations of gift cards to help fill small, specific needs for BFPP families.

Whether it's a gift card for groceries, clothing, or gas, your contribution makes a significant impact. Gift cards provide families the opportunity to choose what they need most.

How You Can Help:

  • Donate Gift Cards: Fred Meyer gift cards in $20 increments are best! Gift cards to Safeway, Walmart, Winco, and gift cards to gas stations (in $20 increments) are also helpful.
  • Donate Cash: Let us buy the gift card for you! No amount is too small.
  • Buy Raffle Tickets: Come to the BFPP Craft Fair on 12/14 and purchase raffle tickets - all proceeds will go to purchase gift cards.
  • Drop off your donation with Peggy at the front desk, Counselor Erica, or BFPP parent Heidi Zollner.

Help us reach our goal of twenty $20 gift cards! We've already collected 3 (THANK YOU!), so we have 17 more to go.

Questions about donations? Please contact Heidi Zollner. Thank you!
