Dear Oak Ridge Families,
If you get the chance, be sure to thank Mrs. Holmes for all her hard work and creativity the past several weeks planning and practicing musical pieces with our elementary students for the 2022 Elementary Christmas Program. Please be sure to thank Mrs. Zimmerman and Mr. Thomas for all their hard work and creativity decorating for the program as well. The stage looked amazing and the student performances were so precious! The student art work was amazing! Thank you PTO for helping with the photo opportunity with Santa!

The teachers are still working hard decorating doors and hallways while planning fun and festive educational activities for the coming week. Thank you all for making this such a magical time of year for our kiddos.
Oak Ridge Elementary will host Christmas Spirit Week(s) December 12th-21st with Christmas around the world on December 19th with a special treat for our students that day. Students will visit each teacher's room and have an activity to teach them about the holiday traditions in other countries as well as geographic and cultural information about each country. We will share Christmas Around The World lessons with you next week. School will dismiss for Christmas break at 12:30PM on December 21st. School will resume for second semester on January 3rd for teachers only and on January 4th for students.
There will be no After School Adventure Club on December 21st when students dismiss early for break.
Only 16 Days Until Christmas!
Enjoy the weekend with family and friends!
Sincerely,
Sonia Wood
