The information included in these briefs is not intended to be complete and does not replace official Board minutes. Adoption of Textbooks: AP English Literature and Composition

The Board approved textbooks and curricular resources published by Bedford, Freeman, & Worth for the Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition course. These materials include works from a diverse set of authors, align with the 2019 College Board redesign of the course, and include tips and strategies to help students get maximum points for each question. The six-year adoption of these resources includes student textbooks, online licenses, and teacher materials.

Assistant Principal Appointments

The Board and District Administration are pleased to announce the appointment of Assistant Principals in all elementary schools. We look forward to the contributions these professionals will make to student success every day in our schools.

Project Approvals for BHMS and DHMS Tracks and Fields


District plans for the installation of new turf fields and tracks at Beverly Hills Middle School and Drexel Hill Middle School continue to move forward as the Board has approved Land Development, Stormwater Management, and Financial Security agreements for these projects with Upper Darby Township.

Board members are volunteers and have a deep desire to serve children, a strong belief in the value of public education and a deep professional respect for the District staff who serve our children and their families every day.
