Mr. Garza's Culinary Club

Mr. Garza's culinary club had 31 students show up today to cook Gorditas for themselves and the staff. Students learned how to be safe in a kitchen as well as how to work together as a team. They were really excited to spend the activity period preparing a wonderful lunch which we all got to enjoy during lunch hour.

Next month will be GUMBO!

What is the ACT/SAT test?

Both the SAT and the ACT are nationally administered, standardized tests that help schools evaluate your application and see how prepared you are for college courses. The SAT and ACT generally cover the same topics. Both ACT and SAT scores are used for college admissions decisions and awarding merit-based scholarships. Most colleges do not prefer one test over the other. Neither the SAT nor ACT is harder than the other. Different students tend to do better on one test than the other.

Ask Mrs. Jackson or Mrs. Salinas for more information.

Students Driving to School - The Risk of Driving Without a License Students Driving to School - The Risk of Driving Without a License

The following is needed for a student to drive to Endeavor:

  • A valid Texas driver's license
  • Proof of liability on your vehicle
  • A parking permit issued from Endeavor

Students who drive to school without a valid license may face citations from the campus Constable and will be prohibited from leaving campus with their vehicles. For those needing a permit, please see Mrs. Barrientos in the front office. Additionally, we have received reports of students parking on nearby streets, which may lead homeowners to contact their HOA, potentially resulting in patrols by the Sheriff's Department. It is important to remember that driving without a valid license can result in a citation, and management at Dollar General has the authority to have improperly parked vehicles towed at the owner's expense.

For Endeavor students, transportation options are available through the district; please contact the front office for further details.
