Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Testing Information for Juniors and Seniors
On November 11, 2025, Saucon Valley High School will be offering the ASVAB for students in grades 11 and 12.
The ASVAB is a multiple-choice career aptitude test that is utilized by the military.
The test assesses math, science, reading, and technical skills, giving you an insight into your strengths and weaknesses.
If you are interested in joining the military and have not yet taken the ASVAB, this is a great opportunity to do so.
The ASVAB is not only beneficial for those who want to join the military - taking the ASVAB allows students to learn about potential career clusters, your interests, and many other things.
To sign up, please use this LINK to the google form.
The test will take place in the LGI at 8:00am and takes around 3 hours to complete.
Join the Songwriting Club
We're starting a Songwriting Club at Saucon Valley Senior High School!
If you're into music and you love a good song (Who doesn't?), then this may be the club for you!
In the Songwriting Club, we'll work together to learn the art of songwriting.
We'll analyze great songs and discuss what makes them so great. We'll learn strategies to start writing your own songs. We'll share our songs with each other, providing feedback, support, and encouragement to help make the songs even better!
Eventually, we'll perform our songs and maybe even send them out into the world!
No experience necessary! If you play an instrument, great! If you don't, that's ok! If you have a voice, you can write a song! Can't sing? That's ok, too! (Have you heard me sing? Ugh!) Even if you can't sing, you can still write a song!
All genres welcome! All skill levels welcome! In other words - if you like music and songs, come check it out!
Fill in the Songwriting Club Interest Survey to answer a few short questions. More details and the first meeting are coming soon!

Marching Band Update
On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the Saucon Valley Marching Band competed at Nazareth High School's Soundfest competition.
The band scored an overall 86.25, they came in 1st place in High Music, 1st place in High Visuals, 1st place in High Percussion, and took 1st place overall for the night in the American A division. They were also the highest scoring A band of the entire event!!
The day after that amazing victory, the band took to the streets of Hellertown to bring some spooky musical spirits to their hometown during the Halloween Parade.
They will also be sharing their scarily good musical talents at the Catasauqua Halloween Parade on Wednesday.
They have one final local competition at Whitehall High School next Saturday, October 25, 2025, before going on to Cavalcade Championships on November 1, 2025.
Come out and cheer on this incredible group of SV musicians as they wrap up their fantastic 2025 season.
