PreK - 12/4 & 11
Dear Families,
During this busy season, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters. I once heard someone share an object lesson that changed my perspective: they walked around with a pad of sticky notes, placing a note on everything that is eternal. It didn’t take long to realize that the things we cherish most—people, relationships, faith—are what actually last. Everything else fades.
This simple exercise is a powerful reminder to choose presence over presents. Our children won’t remember the perfect decorations or the long to-do lists we completed, but they will remember the moments we were fully with them—the hugs, the laughter, the stories, the prayers.
As we prepare our hearts this season, may we focus on what matters most. Scripture reminds us, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:21
May our hearts be found in the right place this Christmas—treasuring Jesus, treasuring our families, and treasuring the moments that truly last.
Our classroom Thanksgiving parties were so much fun! We played games...
We did crafts....
And we celebrated together! We are so thankful for all of our wonderful helpers that either donated items or helped out in the classroom.
As we head into the colder months, please remember to bring your child's snow gear each day in a separate bag and label all of your child’s winter items—coats, hats, mittens, boots, and anything else they bring to school. Labeled items help us quickly return belongings to the right student and keep them out of the lost and found.
On Fridays, please take your child's snow gear bag home and wash it if needed. Some days when we go out it is very wet.
