Message From School Administration
Dear Centennial Lane Community,
April 1–5 is National Assistant Principal’s Week. We will proudly celebrate Mrs. Drumgoole during the week we return from Spring Break, April 6–10. In celebration of Mrs. Drumgoole, please feel free to send her an email message, stop by to recognize her many contributions, or have your child write her a note or card.
I would like to begin by expressing my heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Drumgoole for all that she does to support our students, staff, and families. Her unwavering commitment to creating a positive, nurturing environment and shaping our school culture has not gone unnoticed.
April is also School Library Month, and I would like to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible work of our Library Media team—Mrs. Beyer, Mrs. Kallemyn, and Mrs. DeBoy. Each day, they support our students in becoming thoughtful, responsible users of information, curate a diverse and engaging collection of resources, and promote meaningful integration of technology into learning. Thank you all for everything you do to inspire and empower our students!
Our next Dolphin Detail will be shared on Friday, April 10, 2026.
As we head into Spring Break, we want to thank you for your continued support and partnership throughout this school year. The past few months have been filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences, and we are incredibly proud of all that our students have accomplished.
Spring Break is a wonderful opportunity to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. Whether you are traveling or staying close to home, we hope you find time to relax and create joyful memories.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, April 6, 2026 as we begin the final 41 days of the school year—a time that will be filled with continued learning, celebrations, and achievements.
With Dolphin Pride,
Debra A. Anoff, Principal
Siobhan Drumgoole, Assistant Principal

Upcoming MCAP Testing Schedule at CES for 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Students:
Centennial Lane students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will take the Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) in both ELA and Math. The MCAP assessment window is Monday, April 6th - Friday, May 29th. Specific testing dates are listed below for each grade level. There is no need to study for the MCAP. To prepare, have your child get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time. Thanks so much. We appreciate your partnership.
