This year’s Book Fair will be COINLESS. We will not be carrying or accepting change. All cash transactions will be rounded up to the nearest dollar, and the difference will automatically be donated to the Share the Fair program, which helps provide books for students at our school who need assistance purchasing new ones.
To make shopping even easier, we encourage all families to set up an eWallet for their student. With eWallet, students can shop the Book Fair without the need to bring cash.

BIRTHDAY THURSDAY
On the last Thursday of each month, we celebrate students with birthdays in that month. Each class holds a short celebration at the end of the day. If you’d like to send a treat for your child’s class, please reach out to their teacher in advance. We kindly ask that treats be easy to pass out—such as cookies or cupcakes—as cakes and pies can be difficult to cut and serve.
Please note that Birthday Thursday celebrations are for students only; parents are not invited to attend. Also, birthday treats should only be sent for these monthly celebrations—treats sent at other times may not be distributed.
LOST & FOUND
Our Lost & Found fills up quickly! The last week of each month we will have lost items displayed on tables just inside the main entrance. Please remind your child to check for any missing belongings. Any items left unclaimed by Thursday afternoon will be donated. Thank you for helping us keep things organized!
We would like to recognize LSRO staff for all the amazing things that they do each day for our students. If you have someone that you would like to brag about, please fill out this form and we will share the Shout Outs through the weekly Thursday Exchange.

DEVELOPING LEADERS AT LSRO
Weekly I Will Statements
During morning announcements, we will focus on one LifeLeader Attribute each week and learn what we need to do to develop each attribute so that we can become effective leaders in our school and in our community. We encourage students and families to memorize these statements together and talk about how the attribute is exhibited at home, school and work. We will share the I Will statement in the weekly newsletter and on our campus Facebook page. We look forward to hearing how students are exhibiting the attributes at school and home. Click here to view all 15 LifeLeader attributes.
LifeLeader School Rules - Growing Leaders of Character
LifeLeader School Rules - Growing Leaders of Character
During the first six weeks of school, we’re introducing our LifeLeader School Rules to help students grow as leaders of strong character. Every two weeks, we’ll focus on one of the three school rules, reinforcing positive behaviors that support our mission.
We invite you to partner with us by asking your child how they are demonstrating these school rules both at school and at home.
Click here to view the teacher guide with examples of behaviors that align with each rule
