Thomas Community Newsletter
May 20, 2026
Dear TMS Community,
With the excitement and activity of the final weeks of school, this edition of the newsletter is arriving a few days later than usual. We are still smiling from one of our favorite TMS traditions — the Pride of the Wolfpack Assembly! This uplifting event showcased what it truly means to “BE THE GOOD” at Thomas Middle School. Students and staff celebrated the many accomplishments, talents, and positive contributions that make our Wolfpack community so special.
This year’s assembly included the induction of two individuals into our Performing Arts Wall of Fame, which will soon be displayed in the Commons: actor Bill Glass and current 8th-grade student Jake Connelly. We were also proud to honor the 2026 Lean on Me Award winner, ELA teacher Janelle Dufer, along with several TMS alumni and high school senior scholarship applicants and winners, recognizing their continued achievements beyond Thomas.
The Pride of the Wolfpack Assembly continues to be a feel-good celebration enjoyed by both current students and returning alumni — a powerful reminder of the lasting impact of kindness, character, leadership, and school pride at TMS.
Congratulations to the 2026 retirees! We are grateful for your years of service to TMS!
