One Thing I Wish You Knew
Sponsored By Friendship Cafe
On behalf of The Friendship Circle of Wisconsin, I would like to personally invite you to attend our annual One Thing I Wish You Knew Mental Health Community Event on Sunday, November 15, 2026 at 3pm - 5:00pm. at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee.
All 4 of this years teen speakers are Nicolet Students.
One Thing I Wish You Knew has grown into the largest mental health convening of its kind in Wisconsin, bringing together hundreds of community members, educators, healthcare professionals, first responders, students, families, and advocates for an afternoon dedicated to mental health awareness, education, and hope.
The event begins with a large community mental health resource fair, where attendees can connect with dozens of organizations offering support and services. Following the resource fair, four courageous teens will take the stage to share their personal mental health journeys in a powerful TED Talk-style program that encourages understanding, reduces stigma, and reminds others that they are not alone.
We hope you will be able to join us on November 15!
π§ The Mental Health Champion Award
Every year, our community teens share what they wish others understood about their struggles and resilience β and for so many students, one adult at school made all the difference. This award recognizes the high school counselors, behavioral health professionals, and faculty students say showed up for them.
