Pride Preview Vol. 16
Q2 Week 16 Dec 1 - 5

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Welcome back, team! I hope you each enjoyed a restful and refreshing Thanksgiving break. Thank you for the work you’ve done to keep our students motivated and focused—your consistency and commitment make an incredible difference, especially during this busy stretch of the semester.
As we come back together, let’s stay grounded in our purpose: instead of counting down the days, let’s make every day count.
Instruction This Month
December is a full month of learning, and our students need strong, engaging instruction every day. Please continue moving through your lessons, projects, and assessments according to your pacing guides and curriculum plans. Your intentionality helps ensure students finish the semester with confidence and momentum.
Let’s finish strong—with purpose, clarity, and a shared commitment to making each moment meaningful for our kids.
Thank you for all you do for our students and our school community.

Removal of old furniture is scheduled to be complete by Sunday, December 21
Campus staff to do list on or before Friday, December 19 by 12 noon
Please declutter all spaces and box up your loose items/documents.
Confidential documents are to be locked away in a safe location. Not to be left out or inside any drawers. All old furniture will be removed and taken to a landfill.

New furniture will make a nice statement when delivered and installed. Upon your return from winter break, you should have all new furniture in place as pictorial depicts.
If you have existing furniture that you would like to keep in your room/space, please speak with Mr. Carter.
All new furniture must remain in place, no moving anything around until FF&E Team has inventoried all items in each room the 1st week in January 2026!!

New Roller Shades — Care & End-of-Day Expectation
Adults only should operate the shades—please keep students from handling them.
Raise and lower shades slowly and evenly using the chain/pull system.
Keep furniture and classroom items clear of the window area to avoid rubbing or damage.
Do not attach tape, stickers, or any decorations to the shades.
Report any shade that is sticking, rolling unevenly, or making noise.
-
Please fully lower your shades at the end of each day. This supports campus security and helps maintain proper tension on the shade mechanism.
Thank you for helping care for our new equipment!

🦁 Campus Reset: Hallway & Restroom Expectations
As we enter November, we’re taking time to reset our hallway culture across the building. This isn’t just about order — it’s about student safety. Clear expectations and calm transitions keep every Lion accounted for and ensure that staff can monitor students effectively throughout the day.
-
Hall Passes: All students must have a hall pass during instructional time.
-
Limit Traffic: Only students with medical needs or emergencies should be out during class.
-
Lions’ Hallway: Walk on the right, stay on your square, hands behind your back, voices off, eyes forward.
-
Teacher Monitoring: Teachers actively monitor and lead transitions — no unescorted groups.
-
Lockers: Keep all lockers closed and belongings neatly inside throughout the day.
-
Restrooms: Use restroom helpers, go 3–4 at a time, and keep breaks short and structured.
A consistent hallway culture helps us maintain a safe, respectful, and distraction-free environment where learning can thrive.
