Hello Mill Valley Families, Hello Mill Valley Families,

As we prepare to welcome students back for the new school year, I am filled with excitement for the learning, growth, and shared moments that await us. Our staff will be working hard to make sure the building is ready, lessons are planned, and the year ahead is full of opportunities for your children to shine.

At the same time, I recognize that this is not a typical start to the year for many in our community. The recent flooding has brought unexpected challenges, loss, and heartache. Whether you were directly impacted or are supporting friends and neighbors who were, please know that our MV family stands beside you. We are here to provide not only academic support, but also compassion and understanding.

As we step into this new school year, let’s do so with a spirit of togetherness—lifting one another up, finding joy in the little moments, and reminding our students that they are valued and surrounded by care. Our community’s strength has always been its people, and I am confident that, together, we will create a year filled with learning, kindness, and hope. I look forward to seeing you soon and beginning this journey side by side.

In Partnership,

Allyce Harris

Mill Valley Principal

A Huge Thank You to Our Custodial & Building Team A Huge Thank You to Our Custodial & Building Team

All summer long, our custodial and building team has been hard at work preparing our school for the new year. They’ve tackled hot, dirty, and often unseen tasks with tireless effort and incredible attention to detail. Because of their dedication, every hallway shines, every classroom is ready, and our entire building is a welcoming place for learning, growth, and community. Their pride in their work makes a difference for every student and staff member who walks through our doors. We are deeply grateful for their hard work and commitment. They truly are the foundation of our success this school year!
