Holiday Shop Volunteers
Thank you to the students and families for supporting the Kinsner Holiday Shop and thank you to the volunteers that made this event possible by donating their time. The students had a wonderful week visiting the holiday shop and we appreciate your support.
The learning value for our kids was huge: they practiced budgeting and basic math in a real‑world setting, experienced the thoughtful planning that goes into gift‑giving, and learned the joy of giving to others. Those lessons go far beyond the classroom.
We had so many parent volunteers helping in every role — from set‑up to checkout to wrapping — and this event truly couldn’t have happened without your support. Thank you for helping our students calculate their money, assisting with purchases, and lovingly wrapping gifts. A special thanks to everyone who transformed the space into a cozy winter wonderland.
Wishing each of you a warm and safe holiday season. We appreciate you!
Ornament Night Update
Thank you to everyone who attended Ornament Night on November 18th, and thank you to the volunteers who made the evening possible. 177 ornaments from Maggie & Ellie’s Pottery and Art Studio were painted during the event, and Kinsner families rocked the donations for the Strongsville Food Bank Sharing Tree. Thank you for your generosity.
Park and Walk Trial Modification - Coming Soon
Starting in January we will trial a revised "Park and Walk" route to improve safety for students and families. During arrival and dismissal we will temporarily close a section of the parking lot to vehicles and set up a coned pedestrian pathway to better separate walkers from cars. Vehicles will follow the loop through the lot and may travel two ways, but the curb adjacent to the school will be marked “No Drop Off” — please park and walk or use the drop-off line from Waterford.
We recognize that eliminating one pathway for cars may slow traffic for a short time; thank you for your patience as we prioritize family safety. Pedestrians should use the coned crossing route (yellow-arrow pathway on the map); one path serves Kylemore and the other serves the parking lot. Students from W. Kerry may use the back door between 8:50–9:00 AM. After a few weeks we’ll send a short feedback survey for your comments and suggestions. Please see the guidance document below (PDF linked) for more details and thank you for your cooperation!

Cold Weather Reminder
We plan for all students to go outdoors for recess unless one of the specific medical or safety conditions below applies. Because of limited staffing, we cannot honor general requests for a child to remain indoors without a doctor’s note. If your child needs indoor accommodations for medical reasons, please provide documentation from a healthcare professional.
Lost and Found
See anything that belongs to your child? Have them swing by the art/ music room to pick it up prior to winter break. We plan on bagging and donating everything after Friday, 12/19. If you'd like to take a look for yourself, feel free to come by and sign in at the office with Mrs. Marconi.
