Hello FamiLEE,

We had a great first week back from break and are looking forward to all the amazing things that will be happening the rest of this school year. All students received a paper copy of their 3rd Quarter Report Cards on Thursday. Please review it and reach out to your child's counselor if you need to schedule a parent conference. The counselor for all 9th-11th grade students who are zoned for Lee High is Mrs. White (christ.white@hsv-k12.org) and the counselor for all seniors and magnet students is Mrs. Lee (denise.lee@hsv-k12.org). If you need a copy of your child's report card or instructions on how to monitor their grades and attendance on the PowerSchool Mobile App, please email the Graduation Coach Mr. Holder (patrick.holder@hsv-k12.org)

Our Juniors will be taking the ACT Plus Writing test on Tuesday, April 8. All 9th, 10th, & 12th grade students will have an E-Learning day that day and will access their teachers instruction through Zoom and Schoology. Our Juniors will be having their last ACT Success Camp on Friday, March 28 sponsored by AMSTI and we really need each of them to be there and on time.

I want to continue to emphasize the importance of all students being here each day and on time. Good attendance is essential for achievement in school and we need your child here as much as possible so that we can move forward as a school community. When your child misses school for any reason, please send excuse notes to LHS.Attendance@hsv-k12.org.

Just a reminder that students must be in dress code daily. Pajamas, hats, and caps should not be worn in the school building. Thanks for your help and support!

Below is our current attendance rate. We have a goal of 95% this year. Please help us reach this goal by ensuring your child is here every day. If you child has to be out, please send excuses. The NEW attendance email address is LHS.attendance@hsv-k12.org.

• Attention Seniors & Senior Families! If your FAFSA is not done and you need assistance completing it, please come out to the theatre lobby NEXT Monday, March 24th, 2025 between 8:30am-3:40pm for help! Parents and guardians are welcome all day!

• Attention Parents & Guardians! All medications prescribed and over the counter require this form from your child's physician. Students are not allowed to carry any kind of medications around with them without the permission of the school nurses - they must be kept in the nurses office with the correct forms on file. Medications found on students will be confiscated and must be picked up by parents/guardians. This is a district wide requirement.

• Please support our track & field team blanket fundraiser at this link!

• The SOAR HBCU Scholars Program is for rising 11th grade students. This is a great, FREE, opportunity that will help them understand what college life will be like after graduation. Please see the flyer below for more information!

• Attention Students and Parents/Guardians! Please note that students have the opportunity to visit their teachers for help during FamiLEE Time (11:30am-12:15pm) instead of going to clubs every Tuesday through Friday. Please see the attached schedule of teacher office hours and encourage your child to take advantage of this opportunity!

• Attention FamiLEE! There is a Volleyball Interest Meeting next Wednesday, March 26 from 4:30-5:30 in the Big Gym! Come meet the coaches and learn about the program! Also, mark your calendars for tryouts which will be April 14-16!!

• The late magnet application period has begun and will close on April 8 at 1:00pm! If you are interested in coming to Lee to join one of our amazing arts magnet programs, please apply today!

• Huge shout-out to our Girls Soccer Team for defeating Columbia 10-0 today!!!
