Parent Teacher Conferences -- THIS WEEK

Parent-Teacher Conference week is HERE!

Reminder, we get out at 2:00pm each day this week (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday!)

Dates:

Monday, February 9th from 4:00-7:00pm

Tuesday, February 10th from 4:00-7:00pm

Thursday, February 12th from 8:00-11:40am

We were doing a friendly competition amongst classes to see which classroom is the first class to have all conferences scheduled! The winning class was......3RD GRADE MRS. JONES!!! Thank you parents for helping your child's class earn an EXTRA RECESS!

Parent Teacher Conferences DONATION REQUEST

If you are willing and able, our PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is asking for parents to donate beverages, dessert items, or breakfast items for teachers this week. Our PTO will be providing dinner on Monday and Tuesday evenings. You can drop them off in the front office!

Wasmer Wildcat Ticket Winners

Our teachers decided we needed to bring more attention to the students who are following our Wasmer expectations of being safe, respectful, and responsible. When a Wildcat is observed in action, they earn a Wasmer Ticket. At the end of each week, we are doing a drawing for one student in each grade. These students will get to pick a book out of the book vending machine.

3rd Grade: Sheline

4th Grade: Maria

5th Grade: Itali

REGISTRATION FOR THE 26-27 SCHOOL YEAR

Kindergarten is available at all 13 of our Elementary schools. We encourage all of our Grand Island families with students who will be 5 five years old by July 31st to register for Kindergarten in their neighborhood school.

All new and returning Kindergarten - 5th Grade students need to be registered by March 31st.
