I am absolutely thrilled to embark on a new adventure with you this year! This marks my third year at Sage Canyon and my 33rd year as an educator—a journey during which I’ve had the joy of teaching every grade from preschool through sixth. Outside of school, I love reading, hiking, traveling, watching movies, and cooking. My husband and I often explore Castle Rock's beautiful trails with our husky, Goose, so be sure to keep an eye out for us at Miller Park!

As fifth graders, your students have so much to look forward to. We'll dive into practical financial literacy as we prepare for Young Ameritowne, transform our classroom into immersive woodland environments, journey through space, and revisit the pivotal moments of the American Revolution. We'll sharpen our problem-solving skills with STEM challenges during Techy Tuesdays. Later this fall, we'll also embark on our Outdoor Education trip—an exciting three-day, two-night overnight adventure in Florissant focused on hands-on science and community building. I can't wait to get started!
