On December 31, 2023, Federal Student Aid launched a soft opening of the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form at studentaid.gov. Visit studentaid.gov/announcements-events/fafsa-support for more information on what to expect during the soft launch.
Please be patient as you complete the 2024-25 FAFSA as there may be intermittent pauses for site maintenance. If you visit the site during a pause, check back later to access the form.
Murray State University will not receive student FAFSA information until late January or early February 2024.
Students and families should use Murray State code 001977 when completing the FAFSA.
Please ensure you have completed your admission application to Murray State University at murraystate.edu/apply. Note that the 2024-25 general scholarship deadline is February 5. We strongly encourage you to apply for admission by January 22 in order to allow time for completing the scholarship application.

Admitted Students - Join us for a Racer Basketball Game!
Admitted Students -- Please join us on January 14 at 3 p.m. at the CFSB Center on Murray State's campus for a Racer Basketball game! You and up to three guests are invited to attend the Murray State Racers vs. Northern Iowa men's basketball game.
While our Murray State students are on winter break, several of our student leaders went to their former high schools to visit with the teachers that made an impact in their lives. Check out some of these Racers who are "Home for the Holidays."
Registration is now open for the Discover Diversity Leadership Summit at Murray State University which will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024. The Summit be a multicultural gathering of high school seniors that have been admitted to Murray State and high school juniors from across Kentucky and surrounding states. The focus of the Summit will be on leadership development and learning effective strategies to elevate leadership skills to help students successfully navigate our constantly changing educational, political and social environments. Students will attend sessions, meet alumni, professors and current students and explore the Murray State campus.

Racer Day Registration Now Open
Racer Days are open house style visits where students have the opportunity to meet the Office of Recruitment & Transfer Center staff, professors and student organization representatives. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with Financial Aid and Scholarship office staff. Campus tours will be available at the close of the event. Plus, if you haven't done so already, students will have the opportunity to complete the on-site admission experience, so don't forget bring your official transcript and test scores.
