Parent Heads Up
This week I spoke with a parent who identified a chat room website that was mimicking Study Hub, a legitimate education related site. While this chat site appeared to be an educational site it was not, and has since been blocked district wide.
While we have been able to block this one website, there will always be more that appear and these types of chat features can be found on many items including video game consoles. Please know that our staff will only assign coursework through district approved sites and resources. If you notice anything that seems out of place, please notify your students teachers or myself.
Below is a screenshot of what the fake site looked like and confirmation that it has now been blocked on all district devices.
Athletics
The last of our fall sports ended this past week and we had a fantastic season!
Our Boy's Golf team won the District Championship and we earned District Runner-Up trophies for Girl's Golf, Boy's Cross Country, Girl's Cross Country and Girl's Soccer.
Thank you to all of the coaches and our Athletic Director, Mrs. Vazquez, for giving their time to allow our student's the opportunity to compete.
Thank you to our parents who supported their students and provided team meals.
And thank you to our students who not only competed successfully but did so with impeccable sportsmanship!
