Hello families,

Monday is World Teacher Appreciation Day! This is a great time to recognize the teachers you know in your life. Encourage your children to say something positive to their teachers on Monday,

Monday is school photo day. It usually takes the whole day and it will happen in the gym. We will call the academy classes first so they can attend the academy sessions in the afternoon.

We will be having a bake sale for the Ben Stelter Foundation on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Please send your child with some cash to support a great cause.

St. Thomas More Grade 9 student Jayden is helping lead the school’s Ben Stelter Foundation school fundraiser for the second year. As Ben’s cousin and close friend, this fundraiser is especially meaningful to Jayden and her family. The school will be hosting a bake sale as one of several events to raise funds for cancer research and honour Ben’s memory. For every $1,000 raised, STM receives an entry into a draw for a chance to have Connor McDavid visit the school. Families are invited to support the fundraiser by donating baked goods for the sale. Every September, families are asked to review and confirm their student's information in PowerSchool. This important step helps ensure school records are accurate and confirms enrolment for the school year.

The deadline to complete the form is September 29, 2026.
