Dear KES Families

As the school year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you for your partnership and support over the past four years. This will be my final newsletter as principal of KES, and I wanted to express my appreciation for the opportunity to be part of this school community.

It has been a privilege to work alongside such dedicated families, staff, and students. I’m proud of all that we’ve accomplished together and confident that KES will continue to thrive in the years ahead.

Thank you again for your continued support of the school. I wish you and your children all the best in the future.

Important Information Important Information

  • Field Day: Our field day is on the last day of school in the afternoon. Students are invited to bring a towel to school so they can sit on it when we have our outdoor assembly and then use it to dry off at the end of the day. We will be having more water games this year!
  • Medication: Don't forget to pick up all epi-pens and prescriptions in the office. If your child has an inhaler or non-prescription medication, those will be sent home with them on the last day of school.
  • Lost and Found: Please make sure your child checks the lost and found. All items will be donated June 11th.
  • Student Passwords (from the Tech Dept.): Keeping our passwords private and our accounts secure is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, all current 5th grade and 8th grade student passwords will be changing on July 7th. This change is necessary as 6th grade and 9th grade students have increased password security requirements. In late June, an email will be sent out to student email accounts containing their new password. We kindly ask that you remind your child to write it down in a safe place for future reference. Once the password changes are made, your child will not be able to use their current password to access their accounts. More specific information will be shared with families in May and June.
