Delton Kellogg Schools appreciates your support for our athletic teams. To insure everyone enjoys these events, we ask that you do not bring outside equipment to the games. This includes footballs, soccer balls, mitts etc. Students are asked to be seated in the bleachers with their friends and family.

Delton Kellogg Middle School is proud to offer resources to our students that need help with assignments. One of our dedicated teachers is available to help with questions and provide guidance on available resources. Students can catch up on past due assignments or utilize this time to build skills for successful study habits.

Beginning this year, KickStart is asking that any deposits of $20 or more be clearly marked by a parent or guardian expressly stating it is for the KickStart Program. We want to ensure that the money being sent with your children is designated for their account and not for another school activity.

As we get into October, I want to remind parents and students to check PowerSchool for grades. If you cannot log into PowerSchool please contact our office (269) 623-1541 to get this information. Along with this, if your child needs extra time or help with assignments or homework, our Success Center will be starting on Tuesday October 10th. Our Success Center is available to all students every Tuesday and Thursday and runs from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Mrs. Tyner will run the Success Center on Tuesdays and Mrs. Estep runs it on Thursdays. Students do not have to sign up, but they do need their own transportation home.

Fall sports are wrapping up and I would like to congratulate all of our athletes for representing our middle school in such a positive way. If your child wants to participate in any middle school sports affiliated with the school, they will need to have a physical turned into the HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC OFFICE and be academically eligible. When new seasons begin there will be announcements made at school and I will put information out through the parent newsletter.

Continuing with our sports theme, yesterday Mr. Mohn put out the expectations for students at our home high school football games. Due to safety concerns and issues, it has been decided that all students must be seated in the stands during the event(s) unless headed to the restrooms or the concession stand. This will help keep students, families, and fans safe.
