Greetings MUMS Caregivers!
Lots of amazing projects are coming to fruition in many classes as we wrap up the school year! 8th graders are finishing electric guitars in Design, “Wild Projects” in Art, and Personal Interest Projects in General Music! For the Music projects, students are creating their own bands or pursuing a musical interest. Students must investigate their topic using research, develop and apply musical skills, use creative thinking to create a final product of performance, and self-evaluate through reflection. For the electric guitars in Design, students also engage in a research process, collaborative design, and build the guitar (including the electronic components.), and evaluate using reflection. For the Wild Project in Art, students go through their own independent ideation process to develop their final project, create new unique works that interest them, write an artist’s statement, and evaluate through reflection. It is really wonderful to see our 8th graders using this design process (Inquiring, Developing ideas, Creating, and Evaluating) in different ways to create and learn independently as they prepare to transition to 9th grade.

- Early dismissal + bus notes: Students must deliver a caregiver's note to the front office when arriving at school (before TA).

Shoreham/Cornwall bus caveats
Please use the "button" above to preview our ACSD bus routes.
Also please note a few caveats that impact students who ride Cornwall or Shoreham buses home.
Cornwall and Shoreham buses do not come to MUMS at pick-up time. Students who ride those buses must take a shuttle from MUMS to MUHS to meet their bus.
Cornwall students use the Bridport bus as their MUMS-MUHS shuttle and get on the Cornwall bus at the High school to ride home.
Shoreham students use the Weybridge bus as their MUMS-MUHS shuttle and get on the Shoreham bus at the High school to ride home.
