Pre-K and Kindergarten Enrollment and Choice

The PreK-K Choice of School period will run April 1-April 30. Students who will be entering prekindergarten or kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year can enroll and make their choice of school selections during this time.

GISD is excited to announce a new partnership with ParentSquare, which creates a single place for district communication.

With ParentSquare, you can:

Our district offers language assistance to parents and students. Please print or show the I Need An Interpreter card at your campus to request free over-the-phone interpretation services.

Free Student Health Services Available

All Garland ISD students now have access to same-day doctor visits from school or from home through our partner Hazel Health. Sign up for this free virtual service today!

DFPS Parenting Tips Campaign

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is offering a website with free tips and expert advice to help parents. Visit their website GetParentingTips.com or their You Tube channel for parenting tips and advice.

Texas PTA Podcast for Parents

Texas PTA provides a parenting podcast. The podcast is hosted by the Texas PTA President and each episode features special guest.
