Congratulations to our KRS student orchestra, band, and chorus musicians for performing in two exceptional concerts. Thank you to the directors Mrs. Quinlan, Mrs. McEachern, and Mr. Rossi for their direction of the fabulous ensembles. Next week, is the last week before break. Friday, December 22, 2023 is an early dismissal day at 12:45 PM.

Tuesday was a monumental day for the Madison School District. The approval of all three of the referendum questions, will lead to positive changes in the future for the district facilities. As we progress, I will keep you informed about the positive changes ahead for the KRS building. Thank you for voting.

Please join us on December 19, 2023 in the multi-purpose room for the annual KRS Sing-A-Longs. If your child is in kindergarten, first grade, or second grade, the Sing-A-Long time will be at 9:30 AM. For anyone with a child in third, fourth, or fifth grade, the Sing-A-Long time will be at 10:15 AM. For anyone with children in both Sing-A-Longs, please feel free to participate in both. The Sing-A-Longs are not performances. They are designed to be special times when we may all come together to sing holiday songs.

The second administration of the Star assessments (Grades 1-5) and the Star Curriculum-Based Measurement (CBM) (kindergarten) assessments will occur during the month of January. Families will receive the scores in late January/early February.
