Reading
We will be identifying and describing the characters in the story.
Phonics
We will introduce rhyming words and manipulate word parts. We will learn how to isolate beginning sounds in a word. We will work on the sounds: /m/, /n/, /l/, /a/, /s/, /e/, /f/.
Writing
We will begin learning how to draw using shapes. We will learn how to write our name. We will learn how to write capital letters A, M, L, N, S, E, F.
Math
We will learn how to subitize and count quantities up to 4.
Science
We will learn how to identify and record the physical properties of objects.
Social Studies
We will learn about authority figures in the home, school, and community.

- September 13 - Start with Hello Week
- Please remember to bring one snack and a water bottle each day.
- Please send a pair of over the ear headphones if you have not already done so.
- Please check your child's folder each day.
- Please make sure that your child has a change of clothes in his or her backpack and they are labeled.
If you would like to send birthday invitations, please make sure to include one for every student.
If you would like to send birthday treats for the class, you must submit the Lauren's Law form for approval 10 days prior to the day you would like to send treats. The Lauren's Law form is attached as a PDF below.
Sending treat bags for the entire class is also a great option!
Kindergarten lunch time is from 11:04-11:34.
