I hope you enjoyed your weekend! We are in the final week of the school year, and it is important that you pay close attention to this week's newsletter.

FYI, 6th-grade students may participate in sports for RPMS (see selective offerings below). If you plan on participating in sports during the 2025-2026 school year, NOW is the time to register. As mentioned in last week's newsletter, please see the summer sports information provided by the coaching staff below.

Student-athletes, as always, I encourage you to strive for excellence by competing in the classroom and on the playing surface. 1.Access the RPMS Athletics Website or Scan the QR Code above.
2. Subscribe to a team's season schedule - select Get Alerts tab.
3. Create free account.
4. Link team schedules to personal device calendar, Google Calendar, etc.
5. Receive reminders on events or game changes.

Per the RPMS Handbook: "An athlete must attend regular school classes one full day in order to practice or participate in an athletic contest that day, unless expressly excused by the principal, assistant principal, or athletic director prior to the absence."

Parents and student-athletes, a grade report will be collected and submitted to the coaching staff on Friday morning for any in-season student-athlete who is under a C- in any class. Students must be passing a minimum of five academic classes in the current marking period. Academic progress will be monitored by the Athletic Director, please ensure that you are competing in the classroom and on the playing surface.

Per MHSAA policies, a physical examination must be completed on or after April 15, 2025 to be considered a valid physical for the 2025-2026 school year.

Please note that your student’s annual physical/medical history form (all pages) will need to be uploaded to Final Forms. For 6th-grade families, sports physicals SHOULD NOT be delivered to the Intermediate building.

RPMS Athletics partners with FinalForms, an online service that allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. FinalForms saves data from season to season and year to year, meaning you will never need to enter the same information twice!

We are asking that ALL parents of athletes use FinalForms. Please make sure you’re signed up to receive preseason, tryout, and practice information.

No Final Forms = Ineligible to Participate. 👎

Passes are only accepted for regular season home events at Reeths-Puffer High School and Reeths-Puffer Middle School.

1. Physical Pass Form (must have Student ID number for student athletic pass).
2. Digital Pass (must have Student ID number for student athletic pass).

2025 RP Cross Country athletes are encouraged to attend team activities. RPMS (6th-8th) are invited to attend events and training opportunities provided by the RPHS Coaching staff.
