Students at Home Football Games
Please be sure to read and review the expectations with your students attending football games.
Students are to remain in the stands or designated seating areas unless visiting concessions or restrooms.
Running to the opposing side of the stadium or loitering behind the stands/walkways is not permitted.
Defacing, marking, or etching into school property, including the asphalt walkway at the south end of the stadium, is strictly prohibited.
Throwing objects of any kind, including rocks or other items, will not be tolerated.
Students are expected to show good sportsmanship and respect toward opposing teams, fans, officials, and one another at all times.

Purdue Gifted Super Saturday
The Gifted Education Research and Resource Institute (GER²I) is excited to offer our Fall Super Saturday program for students in PreK through 8th grade. Unlike our other programs, Fall Super Saturday is designed for both parents/caregivers and children, allowing students to learn alongside their family members. This program gives families a unique opportunity to explore and strengthen their students’ critical and creative thinking skills while actively engaging in rich content and hands-on activities.
Sessions will be held on two Saturdays—September 27 and October 11—from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A variety of exciting courses will be offered on both dates!
You can learn more about our course offerings from our website:
https://education.purdue.edu/geri/youth-programs/super-saturday/
Registration is now open, so please go to https://cvent.me/vyXn1e.
We would live to welcome you to our GER2I family, if you have any questions about our program, please reach out directly to Yichen Dong at dong288@purdue.edu.
IMPORTANT - Changes in Transportation
Contact Front Office at your child's building
If there is a change in your child's transporation, whether they will be picked up or riding a bus, it MUST be communicated with the front office. This can be done by sending a note to school or calling the office. If you call the office, please make sure you speak with a person. There is a central list at each elementary school, which allows us to check when students are unsure and the teacher may not be available. Do not just send a message to the teacher. The office MUST be notified. Thank you!
NOTE: Transportation changes should be in to the office by 2:00 pm.
Background Checks & Photo IDs
We love having you visit our schools! To ensure the safety of all our students, anyone who wishes to volunteer or have lunch with their student must first complete a volunteer background check. You can find the link under the Parent Resources tab on our website.
A friendly reminder: for the safety of our students, please remember to bring your photo ID whenever you visit the school for any reason, including student pickup, lunch, or meetings.

Braves of the Week!
Kindergarten: Ashton Burton
Ashton has been working so hard and trying his very best during his school day! He has also been following classroom expectations and earning his stickers on his chart every single day. I am so proud of Ashton's hard work and his smart choices!
1st Grade: Savayah Ray Haines
Savayah is a sweet and kind student who works quietly but consistently puts in her best effort. Although she doesn’t speak much in class, she’s intelligent and demonstrates a great understanding of the material. She rarely gets into any trouble because she’s thoughtful and respectful. What impresses me most is her initiative—she often starts working before directions are fully given, showing she’s eager to learn and willing to take responsibility for her own progress. She’s a hardworking, reliable student who quietly shines in her own way.
2nd Grade: Jackson Batdorf
Jackson was nominated for Brave of the Week because he has been working really hard this week to focus on his purpose and get his work done. I am very proud of his efforts to always do his best. He is a great example of Braves behavior! Keep up your hard work Jackson!
3rd Grade: Jaxson Fleener
Jaxson has worked so hard this year and shown so much growth! I am super proud of what a great example he gives in being a BRAVE. He puts forth effort with his work. He is kind to other students. He is respectful to adults. He raises his hand and participates in class. I am so thankful to have Jaxson in our class family! I can't wait to see where 3rd grade takes him!
4th Grade: Gabe Salazar
Gabe Salazar is my Brave of the Week because he continues to show hard work, a positive attitude, and kindness toward others. He sets a great example for his classmates by always giving his best effort and treating everyone with respect.
5th Grade: Dahlia Hernandez
Dahlia Hernandez brings a gentle and positive energy into school. She is a role model for students and sets high standards for her peers and school community! She consistently comes into class ready to learn with responsible behavior. She actively participates and embodies leadership qualities, kindness, and consideration when working in groups. We are so very proud of Dahlia. Your energy has a ripple effect on everyone around you. Keep being you!
