Dear Roosevelt Families,
As we turn the calendar to February, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued partnership in supporting our students' learning and growth. February brings shorter days but brighter spirits as we celebrate the upcoming spring. This is an opportunity for all of us to learn, reflect, and grow together as a community.
Spring Conferences will be held from March 30th through April 3rd. This is a great opportunity to connect with your student’s teacher and hear all about their progress! Teachers will be sending sign-ups for conferences in the coming weeks via Parent Square. Report Cards were sent out last week.
February's focus on friendship and love provides a perfect opportunity to reinforce the values of kindness, empathy, and respect in our school community. We encourage students to practice acts of kindness, include others, and be upstanders when they see someone who needs support. At home, you can reinforce these values by talking with your child about what it means to be a good friend and community member. Small acts of kindness create a ripple effect that strengthens our entire school culture.

OFFICE INFORMATION
This is a friendly reminder that school supervision does not begin until 8:15am. We ask for your support and not drop students off early due to cold weather and doors not opening until 8:15am.
- If student are here after 8:45am please have them stop by the office to receive a tardy slip.
- If you have a message for your student be sure to call before 2:30pm so we can relay message to the teacher.
- A volunteer form must be completed in the office for any classroom visits or field trips. (per teacher schedules)
- Please check the lost & found if your child is missing a coat. We have 3 bags and a table full of lost items. (fyi: all items will be donated at the end of the month)
