JFK Families,

Thank you to all of the families who came to our Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences last week. Our Book Fair was another success as students found books that brought a renewed level of excitement to reading. Students were excited to share with parents all the great learning that takes place, and our hallways even had a few pieces of artwork up.

In October, it can be difficult to plan for the temperature changes that take place from the early morning hours to the late afternoon. Please reference the JFK Recess Outerwear Guidelines we have for students to ensure they are warm enough when outside at recess.

As a reminder, there is no school on the following days in November:

JFK Partners in the BackPack Program with Feeding South Dakota. Through this program, children up to 18 years old may receive a bag of nutritious, easy-to prepare foods during the weekends and holidays when school is not in session. BackPacks are available Sept - May.
