Weekly News

This week at Main Road School, we celebrated several fun and festive events. Students and staff participated in Saint Patrick’s Day by wearing green, joined in March Madness spirit by wearing basketball jerseys, and welcomed the first day of spring by wearing bright colors. Additionally, Trimester 2 officially ended on Monday, March 16th, marking the close of another successful grading period. Third and Fourth grade chorus will begin next week.

For March, the core value that aligns with Main Road School is Honesty. Students will earn Inverso Incentive dollars this month by being honest. These dollars will be cashed in weekly during their lunch at the Inverso Emporium.

Please feel free to reach out to the PTO with any fundraising ideas you may have, as well as opportunities to get involved within our school community. Our next PTO Meeting will be Tuesday, April 14th at 7:00 PM.

Teachers will be holding conferences until March 25th regarding academic concerns. Grades will be posted for parents in the Realtime parent portal on March 23rd. Please make sure you are accessing this information to be aware of your child's academics.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to another great week ahead!

Friendly Reminder: The doors open at Main Road School at 8:12 and parent pickup begins at 2:50 PM! **IF you are picking up your child, you must let the office know by 2 PM. Please be sure to notify the office and not the teacher, as they WILL NOT see the email/dojo message while they are teaching**

Spring Clothing Reminders Spring Clothing Reminders

As the weather warms up, we want to remind families of our school’s dress code to ensure all students are comfortable, safe, and ready to learn. Please review the following guidelines with your child:

  • Tops: Shirts and blouses should cover the shoulders and midriff. Tank tops with straps at least one inch wide are acceptable.

  • Bottoms: Shorts, skirts, and dresses should be of appropriate length (generally fingertip length). Pants should be worn at the waist.

We appreciate your support in helping students dress appropriately for school while staying comfortable in the warmer weather. If you have any questions, please contact the main office.

Thank you,
Ms. Nicole Inverso
