Live Life Off-Leash

It is hard to believe we are already half way through the year and Summer is now in full swing! We hope you and your pups are soaking up the sunshine and have a fantastic 4th of July ahead! Before you celebrate, please take a moment to look at our flyer—those little extra steps can go a long way in keeping our dogs safe. Fireworks might be fun for us, but for our dogs, the loud booms and bright flashes can be scary enough to make even the chillest pup bolt. Sadly every year, we see pets get spooked and run off, so please make sure it's not your dog.

If you caught last month’s newsletter and our Hounds Travel survey, great news, reservations are now open for our Fall Foliage adventure to Maine and Acadia National Park! I’m thrilled to be leading all the hikes and would love to see you and your dogs join us for some happy Fall memories.

As for our soft launch of the website, we are nearly there and have just received all our codes for those FREE Fi collars - with every annual Viz Whizz membership bought you will get a free Fi 3+ collar and 6 month subscription as a thank you for supporting us! We will send out a separate email on launch day!

For all our RESCUE DOG news you can subscribe to our newsletter here. So many dogs needing a second chance.

Be a part of our Viz Whiz Dogs cancer database, dedicated to the memory of our beloved companions lost to cancer. This devastating disease has touched the hearts of so many of us, stealing our young dogs far too soon. Our mission with this database is clear: gather vital data from our pack and team up with experts to shed light on this terrible disease, arming ourselves with knowledge to educate, protect, and fight back. Our findings will be a beacon of hope, shared openly with all, as we build our database starting January 1st, 2014. This is just the beginning of an ongoing journey together.

Viz Whizz Dogs works hard to promote responsible breeders and has an extensive list of great breeders across the USA. If you would like more information, please reach out and we can share that with you. We have wonderful relationships with many of the breeders and know their dogs from our meet ups we host on the trails. If you're looking to be owned by a vizsla or fast dog, we encourage you to join a local meet up and come talk to members and see the dogs in action.

Viz Whizz Dogs is a recognized club for the AKC Fit Dog. You're invited to join us for a hike to get additional points! Here is the link to find out more of what is involved and how to participate. https://www.akc.org/sports/akc-family-dog-program/akc-fit-dog/akc-fit-dog-titles/

We've created an Amazon list to share some of ours and members favorite things and have created lists of items we talk about in our webinars. We hope this makes it easier for you to find the things we love and trust and have bought for our own dogs. We receive a small commission if you use our link, which in turn supports our rescue program.
