This year, OES moved it's reading program from Reading Counts to Accelerated Reader. The entire Media Center collection of books needs to have their tags changed-over to reflect the point value of the new system. The PTO is assisting Mrs Castleberry and Ms Mollie to get it done.

Grab a friend and come assist:

• Tues, Dec 10 from 9:30 to 11:30 (immediately following the PTO meeting)
• Wednes, Dec 11 from 8:30 to 10:30 (immediately following morning drop-off)
• Fri, Dec 13 from 12:30 to 2:30 (immediately preceding dismissal)

Envelopes went home last month. If you would like your child to shop for gifts for family and friends this week, don't forget to send in your envelope.

Please consider taking a shift to help our little shoppers. Shifts are 1 hour from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Dec 2-6. You can volunteer during your child's class shopping time. Class shopping times can be found at the link below. Thank you.

We love our new neon-green, dri-fit spirit shirts! Fifth Grader, Nico, did a great job on the artwork!

Remember to wear yours on Fridays. All year long, one class in each grade, will win the Spirit Trophy, awarded weekly for the most spirit-wear participation on Friday.
