- Celebration -
Team, we have much to celebrate as 2020 is now behind us and we look forward to the journey of 2021. The road to this point has been less than typical, but we have hung tough and made it to this point as a family. We are officially over the half way point of the school term and one step closer to our overall goal of graduation in 2022. There is something to be said about staying the course and taking a moment or two along the way to reflect! I am very happy and proud of what we have done thus far, and look forward to what additional milestones we can accomplish as a class. This semester begins on the virtual schedule, but there is no time to waste as we prepare to return to some sort of normalcy in the weeks ahead. I do encourage each of you to briefly pause and let yourself know that you are headed in the right direction and that you have a plan of success that you are chasing. It is perfectly fine to look in the mirror and let yourselves know that you are appreciated, valued and loved. It is also ok to cling to those around you that are attempting to help you along the way. Similar to a roller coaster...high school can be bumpy and unpredictable at times, but each of you are tough enough to make it along this course and to the finish line. You can bet that your cohort team will be there at the finish line with our hands raised praising your name! Have a super week, hang on and make sure you let us know if you need anything!

Happy New Year and hands up for 2021. Here we go on the second half of your Junior year of high school! Team, let me tell you how excited I am to begin this semester with you. We have so much to get done and I know you all have the energy and talent to smash it like champs. Even though we are not back in school full time in person, I am just as hyped about connecting with you for these next few months. Be sure to get on my Zoom calls, answer emails and pick up the phone when I reach out to check on you this semester. One sure way that we make it to the end of this school year is to do it as a team. I am here to help CELEBRATE with you and help you help yourselves into a beautiful life after high school. In the meantime, CELEBRATE the small victories and be there for yourselves at all times. Have a great week and keep those hands raised for success!

(Please set your alarms! School starts at 7:15AM for EVERYONE!)
1.) SET GOALS-Personal/Physical/Academic-this will help you stay focused and be able to celebrate your successes!
2.) STICK TO A SCHEDULE- keep the same schedule all week, as much as possible, so as to maintain a good sleep pattern and study times.
3.) COMPLETE ALL WORK ON TIME- do your work daily to avoid becoming overwhelmed! This will also allow you plenty of time to receive assistance on items you do not understand.
4.) SEEK ASSISTANCE-if you need help, please ASK! We HAVE the resources available, and we WANT to help you!
