The Barrett Bulletin
Week of February 9-13
Barrett Russell Students are Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Kind!
Hello Barrett Families!
February is here, and we have lots of fun activities happening this month! Winter is in full swing and so are the germs! Please make sure to keep your child home if he/she has a fever. Your child must be fever free for 24 hours without medicine in order to return to school!
As a reminder our parking lot is very small, and parking is limited especially with the snow. Please make sure you park in between the lines and only park in designated areas. Please drive slowly and do not go where the buses are as we have many students and families walking in the lot. Thank you for your cooperation.
Our Sweetheart dance is on February 12th from 5:00-6:00. Due to limited space, we are allowed to take the first 25 AM students and 25 PM students who sign up.
Unfortunately, Hilliard's has a backup with their orders, so chocolates will not be delivered to the Barrett until after February vacation. We will be sending orders home the week we return from February break.
Hopefully we will be celebrating a Patriots win on Sunday! GO PATS!

Black History Month
February is Black History Month! This February, our preschool students are learning about Black History Month by exploring stories of kindness, creativity, courage and community. Through age-appropriate books, music, art and discussions, children are discovering the importance of treating everyone with respect and celebrating what makes each person special. We are excited to help our little learners build confidence, empathy and appreciation for diversity as they grow!
