Roebling Elementary School
November 2026
From the Principal
Dear Roebling Families,
As November arrives and Thanksgiving approaches, I want to take a moment to reflect on how fortunate I am to be part of the Roebling community. It is a joy to see our students learning, growing, and making memories each day.
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to our families for your continued support and partnership. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for all you do to support our school. I also appreciate our dedicated staff and the care they show our students each day.
As we head into Thanksgiving, I hope you enjoy time with family and friends and have a chance to make special memories. I am grateful to be part of the Roebling family!
Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving!
Ms. Fazekas

Title I Information
What is Title I?
Title I is a federally funded program that provides extra support to schools to help all students succeed. The goal is to make sure every child has the tools and opportunities they need to do their best in school.
Title I funding helps provide additional teachers, learning resources, and programs to support students, especially in reading and math. It also encourages strong partnerships between families and schools to help children grow and succeed.
How Can Families Get Involved?
Families play an important role in their child's success! There are many ways to get involved in our Title I program:
Attend Family Events: Join us for family learning nights, workshops, and school activities.
Stay Connected: Communicate with your child's teacher and stay informed about their progress.
Support Learning at Home: Read together, practice skills, and encourage a love of learning.
Share Your Ideas: Participate in parent surveys, meetings, and discussions to help improve our school programs.
Be an Active Partner: Work together with teachers and staff to help your child reach their full potential.
Together, families and schools make a difference! Your involvement helps create a positive learning experience and supports the success of every child.
Universal Literacy Screener
Students in grades K–3 recently completed their fall literacy screening and i-Ready benchmark testing in Math and ELA to help identify strengths and areas where additional support may be needed. Families can view their child’s results in the Genesis Parent Portal under the Documents tab. Students who need additional support will receive individualized instruction or interventions to help them reach grade-level reading goals.
We want your child....in school!
We started the school year off strong! Our students achieved an overall attendance rate of 96.54%, with our 2nd graders leading the way at an amazing 97.24%! Way to go, Roebling students and families!
On October 20th, we celebrated our first Random Attendance Day! Every student in attendance received a special sticker to celebrate showing up and being ready to learn. To make the day even more exciting, one lucky student fromK-3 was randomly selected to receive a token for a FREE book from our Book Vending Machine!
Why Is Attendance So Important?
Every school day matters! Regular attendance helps students build strong academic skills, develop friendships, establish positive routines, and feel connected to their school community. Even missing just a few days can add up and make it harder for students to keep up with learning. Being at school every day, on time, gives students the best opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed!
We Are Here to Help!
We understand that sometimes families face challenges that make getting to school difficult. If you are experiencing any attendance-related concerns or need support, please reach out to our School Counselor, Ms. Trombly. We are here to work together, help overcome obstacles, and support your child's success.
Let's keep up the great work, Roebling! Together, we can make every day count! ⭐
