Ohio State Testing Reminders (OST)
As we approach the start of our scheduled OST assessments, I wanted to remind everyone a few details below:
First Test, Wednesday April 19th and Thursday April 20
- Students need to have their CHARGED district provided Chromebook for the tests
- If a student fails to bring their district provided device or theirs is not charged, they will be unable to take the assessment.
- Students needs to have a writing utensil for pre-writing, note taking and working out problems.
- During the Math OST, students will need a CALCULATOR as well.
DRESS CODE
Length of leg wear: shorts, skirts (need to be as long as fingertips), do not expose underwear or body parts
Shirts/tops- need to cover shoulders and chest and belly- no midriffs should be sho
Cell Phones
" Students are having their phones on their person all too often. Our rule has always been that students need to have their phones in their lockers and should not be on, seen or in use. Therefore, due to students having this out in class, accessing social media during the school day and it causing increased issues in the classroom and behaviorally, we have adjusted our response and consequence in the event a phone is seen, out or in use and took the time to communicate this to our students today.
If a student does not have their phone in their locker, and a staff member sees this, the student must give their phone to the staff member, the staff member will take it to the office, office staff will call a parent and a parent will have to pick it up before 3:30. If you need to get a hold of your student or vice versa, please call our office, or students can go to the office to make a call. "
