I am writing to invite your son into our football program at Union County High School! High School football is a tremendous opportunity for young men to learn life lessons that deal with hard work, sacrifice, commitment and teamwork. As I tell my players often, football is a finite game. You will always be able to pick up a golf club, swing a softball bat in a rec league, or run a pickup game of basketball on the weekend, but this sport offers only a limited amount of time to compete. Many never get a chance to put pads on after high school, and it is over.
With open arms I am strongly inviting your son to our skills workouts in the months of June and July! We will meet at the high school practice field at 6:30PM and conclude at 9PM.
If you have any concerns about work, sport, 4H etc commitments, I am very flexible and can work with your son to make sure he can be successful. We have a spot for EVERYONE!
